Emmanuel's Visit Day 1

Today Emmanuel came to Santa Barbara, I took him to the Santa Cruz Island caves. As we kayaked through the caves, I thought to myself how lucky we are to be able to have this experience, all of our worries just seemed to float away. Emmanuel was very good at kayaking, much faster than me, but still taking his time and enjoying each present moment.
Because of the waters reflection, there was one cave that was green inside. It's walls glistened like someone had sprinkled tiny, little emeralds all over.  On the way back from the Channel islands, we saw a J-pod of dolphins (a giant group of dolphins). There were so many surrounding the boat. It was an amazing sight.

Below is a video some people took of kayaking through one of the caves.

Beautiful background. It makes me want to read it right away and says a lot about your personality.
Day1:Santa Cruz caves...all our worries floated away...glistening little emeralds...J-pod cool...intriguing photo and fun video
Day 2: Banana pancake ritual-sounds delicious...thanks for the recipe...I agree on the importance of taste!... I wanted to eat the screen
Day 3: love the sunrise birdsong...I love how you ask the question about "have you ever..." "We softly exchanged gratitude..." whoa that gave me goosebumps and made me cry-thanks.
Day 4: Goleta Beach, I love the stuff you found before the indigo sea glass...let's change that "Rwanda" to Ghana-I think I know where that came from
Day 5:Michael's...I like how you colored the words...beautiful sunset...one last thing.... what a great way to create suspense
Day 6:Mother Nature's farewell gift-okay make me cry again...gotta pause here til my eyes clear and I can read on...Someday, you will get to Ghana

Amanda, what a beautiful, beautiful blog...what a touching visit with Emmanuel. The world needs and deserves angels like you. Thank you for flying into my life with all your sparkle and care. I can't wait to travel with you all year long.

Great day #1! I liked all the precise detail while you were explaining Emmanuel and yourself in the cave! Also, I don't think this post is including enough information for one day.
